Amazon Driver Arrested in Baltimore Hit-and-Run Caught on Camera 2025-02-21An Amazon delivery driver turned himself in to police after a hit-and-run incident in Baltimore that was captured on video. The 26-year-old driver, Y., struck a 29-year-old woman crossing the street and continued driving over her, causing serious injuries. Witnesses said the driver stopped, checked on the woman, then left the scene. The woman sustained nine broken ribs and five fractured vertebrae. The incident has sparked outrage in the community, with calls for better training and accountability for delivery drivers. Deadly Shooting at Baltimore Senior Living Facility 2025-02-21A shooting at a senior living facility in Baltimore's Central District left a 79-year-old man dead and a 72-year-old man critically wounded. Police responded to the scene and apprehended a 65-year-old male resident of the facility as the suspect. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident, and anyone with information is urged to come forward. Two Arrested in Maryland Road Rage Incidents Involving Firearms 2025-02-21Two Maryland men were arrested in separate incidents of armed road rage. On Feb. 18, a driver in a red Mustang allegedly showed a firearm during a road rage incident near I-695 and Liberty Road. On Feb. 19, troopers found a loaded handgun in the vehicle of the 71-year-old suspect, S. Hours later, another incident was reported on Route 1 in Prince George's County, where a 70-year-old man, P., was accused of waving a firearm at another driver. These cases highlight the ongoing problem of road rage incidents in Maryland, some of which have turned deadly in the past. |
