Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Middle River 2024-11-04

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the Middle River area over the weekend. At around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, an officer with the Baltimore County Police Department was on routine patrol in the 2200-block of Hawthorne Road (21220) when he located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital and was pronounced dead. Currently, homicide detectives are awaiting autopsy results. The identity of the person remains unknown. Two Killed, Two Injured in Elkton Quadruple Shooting 2024-11-04

Two men were killed, and two other people were injured during a quadruple shooting in Elkton on Saturday, Nov. 2, according to Maryland State Police. The victims were identified as 26-year-old Darius B. of Bear, Delaware and 26-year-old Tamir D. of New Castle, Delaware. The shooting happened around 6 a.m. after an altercation at a gathering outside a home on Chestnut Drive in Elkton. An unknown person left the house and fired shots into a crowd of people standing outside, officers said. Davis was pronounced dead at Christianna Hospital while B. was pronounced dead after being found lying on the side of I-95. A woman was also taken to a hospital where officers said she is being treated for her injuries. The shooting is still under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact Maryland State Police.
