Honduran National Convicted of Assault Arrested by ERO Baltimore 2024-10-02Enforcement and Removal Operations Baltimore apprehended an unlawfully present 26-year-old Honduran national convicted of assaulting a Maryland resident. Evin Obdulio Ponce-Guillen unlawfully entered the United States, made his way to Maryland, and then victimized one of the members of the community. ERO Baltimore will continue to prioritize public safety by apprehending and removing egregious noncitizen offenders. Maryland Teen Wanted for Fatal Shooting at The Mall in Columbia 2024-10-02The Howard County Police Department is partnering with the US Marshalls to locate and arrest a Maryland teen, W. Marshall, wanted for a fatal shooting that occurred at The Mall of Columbia on July 27. Marshall, 17, has been charged with first-degree murder for shooting a 17-year-old, A. Little, during a dispute in the food court. The shooting caused unease among Columbia residents, who were reportedly shocked by the incident. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $20,000 reward on top of the $10,000 Howard County Police Department has offered for information leading to Marshall's arrest. Maryland Car Rally Task Force Disrupts Illegal Exhibition Driving Events 2024-10-02Members from the Maryland Car Rally Task Force, working in collaboration with the Maryland State Police Special Operations Division, and allied police agencies disrupted twelve unlawful exhibition driving events throughout multiple Maryland counties, including Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Howard and Baltimore, on Saturday night. Arrests were made, and individuals were charged with offenses such as fleeing and eluding police, negligent and reckless driving, theft of a motor vehicle, and firearm-related offenses. The task force aims to mitigate the impact of these dangerous events on public safety and foster a safer environment for all Maryland residents. |
