Dear Friend,

As we continue sharing the contents of Volume VI: The Wisdom Literature from The Word on Fire Bible, today we are excited to take a closer look at one of the most beloved components of this collection: the Psalms.

The book of Psalms stands at the very heart of Sacred Scripture. Within its 150 sacred songs and poems, the psalter captures the full spectrum of human emotion, ranging from ecstatic praise and deep gratitude to honest lamentation, anguish, and repentance, providing believers with a divine vocabulary to bring every part of their lives into conversation with God.

Projects like The Word on Fire Bible, which combines sacred art, insightful commentary, and craftsmanship, are possible through the generosity of supporters like you. Please consider making a donation today to support this work and share the beauty of God’s word with the world.

In praying the Psalms, we do not merely read ancient verse; we pray the very prayers that Jesus himself prayed during his earthly ministry. By entering into these holy texts, we learn how to ground our everyday suffering, hopes, and triumphs in the timeless drama of God’s love and mercy.

Your support is essential to help us continue The Word on Fire Bible Project and bring Volume VI: The Wisdom Literature to completion, which will be available in early summer 2027. Please consider making a gift today so that we can finish this volume and continue transforming the culture through the power of Scripture.

God bless you,

The Word on Fire Team
