Here are a few quick things you can do today to reduce risk:

  • Cover outdoor faucets and disconnect garden hoses.
  • Check your thermostat and keep your home consistently heated.
  • Locate where your main water shut-off is in case of a burst pipe.
  • Run water frequently or drip hot and cold water lines.
  • Avoid non-emergency driving on icy roads.
  • If necessary, pack an emergency kit for your car
