Suspect Charged in Baltimore County ShootingNovember 9, 2025

A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection to a Friday night shooting in Baltimore County that left a 36-year-old man with potentially life-threatening injuries. The shooting occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1100 block of Reisterstown Road. The suspect, Michael T. Johnson, is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them or submit an anonymous tip through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Juvenile Stabbed Inside Towson Town CenterNovember 9, 2025

A juvenile was stabbed inside Towson Town Center on Saturday night, according to Baltimore County police. Around 8 p.m. on Nov. 8, officers responded to the mall and found the victim suffering from a wound to their upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Police located and arrested four juveniles who were believed to have been involved, and the preliminary investigation found that a robbery appeared to have been the motive.

After a steep increase in juvenile crime in 2024, the trend is now going down in Towson, according to police data. In 2023, there were 515 victims of assault in Towson, with the most cases reported in December. In 2024, there were 537 victims of assaults, and so far in 2025, there have been 379 victims. Theft offenses account for the most reported crimes in Towson, with 729 victims so far in 2025. Last month, three teens were arrested in Baltimore for their role in 14 burglaries across the city.
