Roadside Marker Honors Pocomoke Tribal HomelandsNovember 13, 2025The Maryland Department of Transportation joined the Pocomoke Indian Nation to unveil a roadside historical marker, spotlighting the Pocomoke Tribal Homelands. The marker is located outside the Pocomoke City Welcome Center off northbound Route 13. The ceremony celebrated the enduring culture and history of the Pocomoke Indian Nation by recognizing their homelands, which include parts of Somerset, Worcester, and Accomack counties in Maryland, as well as portions of Wicomico County, Maryland, and Sussex County, Delaware. Baltimore Police Seek Suspects in Deadly ShootingNovember 13, 2025Baltimore police are seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects in connection with a deadly shooting on Tuesday. Officers responded to a report of a shooting on Rueckert Avenue and found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward. |
