Shooting Woman Injured in Shooting in Baltimore's Federal Hill 2025-07-28 A 39-year-old woman was shot multiple times shortly after midnight in the 1000 block of S. Charles Street in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood. A person of interest is in custody, according to police. Security video from a nearby business shows people dispersing as gunfire is heard in the background. Recent crime in the area has been a concern, with a man beaten with a broomstick, a 24-year-old man shot and killed, and more than 60 vehicles and several businesses damaged by vandals. Crime Woman Found Dead in Vehicle on I-695 in Baltimore County 2025-07-27 A woman was found dead in the back of a vehicle on the shoulder of I-695 in Baltimore County on Sunday morning, according to the Maryland State Police. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. This year, there have been several human remains found in suspicious locations across the Baltimore area, including the body of a 53-year-old woman found inside a safe in her Southwest Baltimore home and the remains of a 67-year-old Maryland business owner found in the passenger seat of a burned truck. Crime Maryland Inmate Dies, Cellmate Identified as Suspect 2025-07-27 A Maryland inmate, B. Bell, died this weekend, and his cellmate has been identified as a suspect.
