Man arrested for robbery of jewelry from elderly woman 2024-10-10

M., 28, of Baltimore, Maryland, has been arrested for robbing jewelry from a local 79-year-old woman. Police reviewed video surveillance that captured the entire incident as it unfolded. M. subsequently admitted to driving the SUV during the robbery in Bensalem on Sept. 9. He was charged with felonies, including robbery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Bensalem Detectives are actively investigating the female suspect's identity in this robbery.

Just for the Kids fundraiser 2024-10-10

Bensalem Township Police officers are challenging members of the Bensalem High School basketball team to raise money for the Just for the Kids Education Foundation on Saturday, Oct. 19, at noon, at the BHS Gymnasium. First Responder Field dedication 2024-10-10

Members of the Bensalem Township Public Safety Department were recently in attendance as the new stadium turf field located on Bristol Road in Trevose was dedicated as First Responder Field. This field is a first-class addition to the Parks and Recreation facilities of Bensalem Township and will provide recreational opportunities to Bensalem residents, especially the youth. This field is now home to the Fever Soccer Club.
