Man Killed, Two Injured in Baltimore Shootings 2024-10-08

A 26-year-old man was killed in a shooting in East Baltimore on Monday night. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident and anyone with information is urged to contact them. Two people, including a minor, were also shot in an exchange of gunfire in Southeast Baltimore early Tuesday morning.

The Conflict Resolution Center of Baltimore County (CRCBC) is celebrating its 15th anniversary by launching a Statewide Youth Conflict Coaching Pilot Program. The program aims to de-escalate conflicts and violence in schools by providing confidential, one-on-one conflict coaching to at-risk middle and high school students. The program is supported by $291,000 in Congressionally Directed Spending and will initially partner with two schools in Baltimore County.
