Two UMES Students Killed in Head-On Collision with Suspected Impaired Driver 2024-10-07Two University of Maryland Eastern Shore students were killed in a car crash early Sunday morning when their vehicle was struck head-on by a suspected impaired driver. The driver and another passenger of the students' vehicle were critically injured, while the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were also hospitalized with serious injuries. The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
