Maryland Woman Arrested for Vandalizing Federal Property During Protests 2024-09-13A Maryland woman named Isabella Giordano, 20, of Towson, was arrested for vandalizing federal property in Washington, D.C. during protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress in July. She is charged with one count of willfully injuring or depredating federal property. Suspect Arrested for Threats that Locked Down Dundalk Schools 2024-09-13Montaz Napier-Wright, 18, of Dundalk, was arrested for making threats that started a lockout at Dundalk High School and Sollers Point Technical High School. He was charged with making a threat of mass violence and disturbing the operation of a school, both misdemeanors. A judge released him on recognizance until his Nov. 13 trial. Former Defense Official Pleads Guilty to Running Dogfighting Kennel 2024-09-13Frederick Douglass Moorefield Jr., 63, a former Department of Defense official from Arnold, Maryland, pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to engage in animal fighting and interstate travel in aid of racketeering. Moorefield ran a dogfighting kennel called 'Geehad Kennels' for over 20 years, using his home to keep, train, and breed dogs for the purpose of dogfighting. He faces up to 5 years in prison. |
