That of the Count of Monte Cristo and that of Moby Dick are probably among the most striking, having required so much energy before being satisfied. But there are others, just as famous, like that described by Emily Bronte in Wuthering Heights or again that of Hamlet from the marvelous Shakespeare. You mustn’t believe that these stories of revenge that are more or less delayed are only old literary fictions, far from it.
